MotiMotion Prospects is a new personal finance application for Macs. It provides powerful budgeting and account monitoring capabilities in an elegant, easy-to-use interface.

Prospects provides up to three ViewPoints that provide instantaneous information about the current account. The ViewPoints use sliders to allow the timeframe to be changed quickly, can be positioned on the side or bottom of the window, can be easily hidden, and remember their settings for each account. This means you can customize the exact information you care about for a given account and it will always be available while working with that account.

You can group accounts into Binders that provide immediate feedback on your assets, liabilities and overall Binder growth. For example, you could place all your savings accounts into a Binder and with one click see your savings assets and growth over the past year.

Prospects provides a customizable Cash Flow Report that can be accessed at any time, saved using different parameters, and printed as needed. Many more reports are planned for future updates.

Prospects allows for any number of Budgets to be created, with one being the "active" budget at any time. Budgets can be also be duplicated with a single click. You can budget for income, expenses and/or savings. Prospects provides immediate access to four graphs that visually indicate how well your Budget is planned.

The Budget Advisor is available from any account andprovides immediate information on how well your budget is performing. It has different graphs, including a consolidated view (budgeted vs. actual) or a detailed view broken out by category. It also provides cumulative and average information.

Prospects can import QIF, OFX and QFX files that you download from your bank's website or export from another financial application. Prospects will check for duplicates, as well as potential duplicates for transactions that may have been entered by you manually before they were imported.

Prospects allows you to Reconcile (balance) your accounts so you can verify the data you've entered / imported matches your bank statements. You can track your reconciling history as statements attached to each account.

You can Schedule Transactions and Reminders with Prospects. You can schedule a one time transaction or reminder, or one that occurs on a regular basis.

Additional great features...

	Prospects will Learn Rules that allow you to quickly and easily categorize and/or rename your transactions. For example, a rule could automatically apply the "Food:Groceries" category for any transaction with a payee name containing the word "supermarket". You can also define more complex rules based on a series of conditions. Rules can be applied at any time or during import.

	By simply dragging and dropping, you can Attach any number of files or website URLs to a transaction. When clicked, the attachment will open in the appropriate application (e.g. a WebArchive of an online purchase receipt will open in Safari). You can also manage your attachments by renaming or deleting them on a per-transaction basis.

	Prospects automatically Memorizes information about Payees that you enter into your transaction list and auto-completes their names and information the next time you enter them into your transaction list. Payees can be "locked" so their information (amount, category, and/or notes) remains the same, or they can be "unlocked" so Prospects uses the information from the most recent entry.

	Prospects supports recording Transfers between accounts and Splitting Transactions into multiple categories. You can even transfer within split transactions so you can record items such as purchases with cash back.

	Prospects allows you to set Filters on an account so you can filter the account transactions for a specific timeframe, category, etc. You can also choose which columns each account displays and how to sort your transactions. All of this information is stored on a per-account basis, so you can Customize each one individually!
